Being the fashionistas that we know you are, you must already know Emerald is the Pantone color for 2013 and as fabulous as it is, we know that it will work its way into 2014! Christa-Taylor takes us through an emerald meets nautical journey, that is unique and all kinds of fabulous. When you put powerhouse group of vendors lead by Christa-Taylor Photography and event planner, Champagne Wedding & Event Coordination you get a vintage, sophisticated, and very stunning Ralph Lauren-esque nautical shoot with stripes and textural patterns, complemented with paper products and fabrics as exquisite details to table decor. The theme to this very romantic and fresh styled shoot was inspired by the bride’s family, who sailed around the world and emulate this, the shoot took place on a wooden dock & sailboat in Portland, Oregon… very romantic if you ask us!

We will be sharing more from this shoot on Monday in part II … I can't wait! (Update: here is Part 2 and is as gorgeous as Part1!)

The ingenious event planners at Champagne Wedding & Event Coordination give us a little words of wedding wisdom… “Consider adding a signature drink with a splash of your color for your cocktail hour or perhaps greet your guests with them pre ceremony.” As they incorporated an emerald inspired cocktail for this stunning styled shoot.
FROM THE EVENT PLANNER… “A few months back I met up with Christa Taylor of Christa Taylor Photography and she mentioned wanting to do a shoot with a Ralph Lauren inspired feel. I love all of the stripes and textural patterns I've been seeing and so I was immediately intrigued.
Our theme was inspired by the bride's family, who had just sailed around the world. We got to do the shoot on a wooden dock and sail boat… how romantic is that? We wanted the shoot to feel romantic and fresh while incorporating clean line textural elements. I love using paper products and fabrics to add details to table decor. Consider adding a signature drink with a splash of your color for your cocktail hour or perhaps greet your guests with them pre ceremony. We always encourage our clients to think about their relationship and what they love to do together when working on the design of their wedding day.”
