Lovely Chairs

I’m soooooo busy getting ready for The Wedding Show El Paso1, that you may start noticing that my posts may get a bit smaller in the next following weeks… but don’t panic! They’re still gonna be fabulous.
Well, yesterday was hectic and today will be even more demanding, so allow me to leave you today with this eye-candy image. I dream of having this type of  chairs available anywhere in El Paso, so one day I can showcase a local wedding ceremony just like this one. But for now, pink bouquets tied to any type of gold chairs would do... very sophisticated, don't you think?

Pronovias LookBook 2012

How do you choose a favorite look when each image is more beautiful than the one before? That seems to be the case with Pronovias LookBook 2012.
If you’re into chic, modern affairs or some elegant, completely refined soiree’s, you’ll love this eye-candy.
Bring into the mix Hydrangeas (my favorite flowers...sorry Madona!), and it's just perfection.
This gorgeous lookbook not only showcases bridal and bridesmaid dresses, but also some stunning  pieces from the Cocktail 2012 Collection for the guests. The good-looking male models, the beautiful sceneries and the cool vintage car make these images even easier on the eye.

I adore the little flower girls, but what really gets me about this photo is this jaw-dropping Manuel Mota for Pronovias dress that I have showcased as my Dress of The Week.
And last, but certainly not least, this my favorite photo. The wedding dress, the veil, the bridesmaids, the scenery... AMAZING!

Dress of the Week

Time for another installment of…”some serious bridal gorgeousness.” I’ve had my eye on Martina Liana for a few weeks now but this Dress is absolute perfection. Surprisingly, it has no lace or ruffles and I have to say, I am completely smitten! I see so much ultra-feminine details in almost every wedding gown these days, that's nice to get a break from it. This wedding gown is modern, it's elegant, and would make anyone feel like a princess on the wedding day without looking like cinderella. And the colors... simply stunning!

Style Inspiration: Balloons

I know what you’re thinking… balloons?  How very.. unfabulous.  Your mind immediately goes to your high school prom, doesn’t it?  With the big purple balloon arch and the balloon sculpture of a giant swan?  But giant balloons, the ones called Geronimo Balloons, can actually be quite chic at a wedding.
These inflated delights are a pretty way to give a splash of color to your engagement session, wedding pictures and reception or ceremony décor. Here are some examples that I just love.

{Wedding Trends} : Over the Rainbow

I’m bringing you a fun, bright and inspirational wedding trend to start your week with a smile. Some people think that couples have to pick one or two colors and base their whole wedding off of that, but a new wedding trend is to incorporate every color and have a rainbow-inspired wedding. From the bridesmaid dresses to the flowers, from the decor to the groomsmen's ties, no longer are weddings bound by the traditional color combos.
While this trend may not be for everyone, it automatically sends a message of fun. A rainbow says, “the party is here.” But forget the images of the Rainbow Bright bedroom you had as a little girl, because this wedding trend can be done in an extremely chic way. Check it out…
Probably the hottest way to incorporate rainbow into waddings are the bridesmaid dresses. I personally adore not only the mismatched dresses, but the use of different types of flowers and colors on the bouquets.
Another famous and super fu way to bring the rainbow into your celebration are the desserts, from the traditional wedding cake and macaroons, to cake-jars and jello.
I adore this rainbow butterfly cake, it is fun yet elegant. But if you a more settle yet unexpected way to get the rainbow into the cake, rainbow cake filler is for you.
Fun and rustic, rainbow cake mason-jars are precious (DIY tutorial here). For summer weddings, these jello cups make the perfect rainbow wedding dessert.
Macaroons, cupcakes and cake-pops are fun and easy rainbow dessert options.
Make rainbow wedding decor look chic is not an easy task. I love these two options... colorful, yet classy.
For those really adventurous brides, incorporating rainbow into your wedding dress may sound like a good idea. You want some inspiration? check out this super stylish bride's rainbow wedding dress. Cute, ha?

{Wedding Trends} : Tea-Length Bridal Gowns

There is no doubt that every girl hopes to become the most beautiful bride on her wedding day. Traditionally, wedding dresses are floor-length perhaps because they seem to be former and more graceful. However, there is a new trend of tea length wedding dresses. People are becoming more and more open-minded, about variations on the traditional wedding attired, so tea-length wedding gowns are become hotter and hotter.
People are head over heels with this wedding dress style because it makes brides look lovely and lively; but also, because tea-length wedding gowns are really convenient to walk and dance all night at wedding receptions. I specially love tea- length bridal gowns because they’re a refreshing option for those brides planning an outdoor wedding in the hot summer days of El Paso and Las Cruces.
