It's all about Apples

I thought I had seen everything when it comes to the use of apples as wedding favors until I saw these beautifully photographed images from Lucy Manalo of  Manalo Empire Photography. I fell in love with these incredible apples. Ana Gonzalez from Berry Beautiful Creations crafts and designs these astonishing breath-taking pieces of art. Each apple is hand decorated! Aren’t they gorgeous?

Bridal Expo Photo Contest

Belle The Magazine is going to be sponsoring the Kiss FM Bridal Show. The 13th Annual Love Affair & Bridal Expo will take place February 21st  at the Hotel Camino Real.
We are designing the logo and advertising image. We are in a need of a great picture, so I decided that instead of getting a bank image picture I would support the local talented photographers and have a little contest. The winning image will be used in posters, Billboards, an ad in Belle, the cover of the official bridal show program, the kiss FM web page, etc. The image will be totally credited to the photographer, of course. This is an excellent opportunity to get some free advertising even if you don’t participate as a vendor in the Bridal Expo.
Please submit  low resolution images to blog@bellethemagazine.com with subject “Bridal Expo Contest” before Friday January 22, 2010.

Pretty Bouquets

One of the most important things for your Wedding without a doubt is your bridal bouquet. There are many aspects, experts say, that you need to consider when choosing a the right bouquet. For me there are only two important things, class and style. Whatever you choose, just make sure that your bouquet complements your wedding theme and that it doesn’t look too big for you.
To give you some ideas I present you these beautiful bouquets created by the always-talented Carissa from JL Designs. They are pretty, modern and elegant.                                                                                 Edited by Jacqueline Garcia

On the mood for more {Marie Antoinette}

Last year we dedicated an entire issue of Belle to those weddings inspired by one of the most astonishing movies, Marie Antoinette. We had the honor to have the gorgeous Kelsey Moore Miss Texas USA 2010 dress up as my version of a Marie Antoinette Bride on the cover. The following collection of images instantly put me in the mood for more Marie Antoinette…I could never get tired of Sophia Cappola’s movie, it takes me back to my stay in France. When I watch it I can still feel the cold when walking through and around Versailles. That day I lost my jacket on the train, but I definitely enjoyed my visit to Marie Antoinette’s Palace. How breath taking are the pieces of jewelry in these pictures? I know you already love these images as much as I do. I hope they bring some inspiration to your day!                                                                                                    Edited by Jacqueline Garcia
